Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in repeating patterns within their relationships or overwhelmed by family dynamics that feel difficult to change. These patterns often show up in communication, boundaries, emotional reactivity, or feeling disconnected from the people who matter most.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in MFT from Abilene Christian University. I work with couples, families, and individuals who want to better understand themselves and their relationships through a systemic and family-of-origin lens.

My work is primarily informed by Bowenian Family Systems Theory, with influences from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means we focus on understanding relational patterns, emotional processes, and the ways past experiences shape current behaviors, while also building practical skills for emotional awareness, communication, and flexibility.

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, balancing validation with gentle challenge, and helping clients strengthen connection, boundaries, and self-understanding within their relationships.

I believe meaningful change happens not by fixing individuals, but by understanding the systems we are part of and learning how to respond differently within them in ways that foster growth, resilience, and more fulfilling relationships.
